BRP 84: Love Me Some Gene Hackman Edition

We're back after our two-week (or one show) break. Deeps, Derek and I are fired up to talk about Fear Itself, Swingtown, Charlie Jade and In Plain Sight.

Then I get reminiscent about Chicago when talking about My Boys. And finally we tackle favorites Doctor Who and the sublime Venture Brothers. Plus we announce the next installment in the Big Red Film Festival - Night Moves and apologize to listener Jacki for running too long!

Listen to this week's episode.

I can't believe you discussed "In Plain Sight" without mentioning that Marshall guy's apparent overdone make-up. (Or do you notice hair issues only?) Maybe it was just me, but he looked to be wearing a large amount of blush and maybe even eyeshadow and liner. Not as obvious as Nestor Carbonell's guyliner, but pretty close!

Other than that, I enjoyed the show more than I thought I would. The lead reminded me a little of Lorelai Gilmore.
