BRP 45: Fear and Loathing in California
This week Derek, Deeps and I discuss Flight of the Conchords, the third episode of Flash Gordon (Derek says it is "getting better"), the second episode of Californication, exile and lipstick on Mad Men, and functional drunks. Then we get kind of spoilery on the Jekyll finale - so be warned!
Plus we offer listener shout-outs!

It's a shoutout-off! How awesomely geeky!
On Jekyll: I finally started watching this last week (and of course couldn't stop)! James Nesbitt and the rest of the cast (except those horribly annoying little kids), is wonderful. I found it intriguing in the finale that the thing that makes Hyde so powerful is "Love". How very Harry Potter.
Have you heard if the show will have a 2nd season, or if this is it? I can't seem to find confirmation either way.
I haven't heard anything about a second season except that Steve Moffat is up for one, but the show was really conceived as a mini-series. So, it is up to the BBC. I read - somewhere (how is that for source citation?) - that the ratings were pretty decent at the start but faded out at the end.
Still - I liked it.
