I can't wait for your spoiler-full review! You should just do a whole podcast devoted to it, so those who haven't read it yet can avoid until they're ready. :)
I'm surprised you still described this as a children's book - I thought it was really scary and certainly NOT appropriate for kids, unlike the others in the series. I could really see this as a rated R movie if they actually follow all the torture and graphic battles that occurred in the book.
